Our GSM blend for this vintage is composed of 46% Grenache, 36% Syrah, and 18% Mourvèdre, sourced from the Joie de Vivre Vineyard—a site we’ve worked with for the past eight years. This long‑standing relationship has given us a deep understanding of this hidden gem, located just three miles northwest of the winery at roughly 425 feet of elevation. Aged for three years in premium Leroi and Charlois oak barrels, the wine opens with a bright, Grenache‑driven nose of sugarplum and red licorice. The palate follows with juicy red cherry and red currant, supported by a long, gently tannic finish reminiscent of cherry skin. While already expressive and enjoyable, its structure suggests the potential to age gracefully for decades.
